Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 3.45% or 44 points to trade at 1321 at the close. Meanwhile, Frutarom (TA:FRUT) added 3.43% or 600 points to end at 18100 and Avner L (TA:AVNRp) was up 2.82% or 6.9 points to 251.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG), which fell 1.83% or 280 points to trade at 15000 at the close. Osem (TA:OSEM) declined 1.64% or 119 points to end at 7156 and Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) was down 1.63% or 14.0 points to 846.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 181 to 150 and 120 ended unchanged.
Shares in Frutarom (TA:FRUT) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.43% or 600 to 18100.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.56% or 0.23 to $41.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.55% or 0.24 to hit $44.42 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.08% or 0.90 to trade at $1077.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.47% to 3.8907, while EUR/ILS fell 0.42% to 4.1392.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.58% at 99.65.
