Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which rose 3.38% or 1080 points to trade at 33000 at the close. Meanwhile, Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) added 2.12% or 114 points to end at 5489 and First International Bank of Israel (TA:FTIN) was up 1.89% or 100 points to 5402 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which fell 2.97% or 44 points to trade at 1435 at the close. Avner L (TA:AVNRp) declined 2.87% or 8.0 points to end at 270.3 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was down 2.54% or 2150 points to 82500.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 197 to 147 and 98 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.08% or 0.04 to $52.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.43% or 0.24 to hit $54.97 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.35% or 4.00 to trade at $1141.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.36% to 3.8603, while EUR/ILS fell 0.51% to 4.0287.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 102.84.
