Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Insurance and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which rose 2.29% or 1740 points to trade at 77800 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) added 1.58% or 12.1 points to end at 780.1 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was up 0.96% or 43 points to 4526 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 1.34% or 50 points to trade at 3681 at the close. Gazit Globe (TA:GZT) declined 1.14% or 40 points to end at 3477 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was down 1.08% or 21 points to 1919.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 202 to 129 and 108 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.35% or 0.17 to $48.82 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.44% or 0.22 to hit $50.13 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.05% or 14.05 to trade at $1353.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.09% to 3.8523, while EUR/ILS rose 0.40% to 4.2899.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 95.65.
