Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 added 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 3.20% or 132 points to trade at 4252 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) added 1.75% or 280 points to end at 16310 and Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT) was up 1.65% or 610 points to 37620 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 4.43% or 2140 points to trade at 46120 at the close. Nice (TA:NICE) declined 1.43% or 350 points to end at 24110 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) was down 1.36% or 270 points to 19530.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 316 to 88 and 48 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.27% or 0.55 to $43.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.35% or 0.60 to hit $45.13 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.22% or 15.20 to trade at $1235.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.10% to 3.7724, while EUR/ILS fell 0.59% to 4.2307.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.52% at 95.11.
