Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Telecoms and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 1.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 5.84% or 1.48 points to trade at 26.84 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 2.37% or 0.14 points to end at 5.83 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was up 2.27% or 0.79 points to 35.57 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMAS), which fell 6.28% or 2.71 points to trade at 40.41 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:MEO1V) declined 3.30% or 0.75 points to end at 21.95 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELI1V) was down 3.18% or 1.09 points to 33.23.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 102 to 69 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) rose to all time highs; up 2.27% or 0.79 to 35.57.
Brent oil for June delivery was up 1.50% or 0.67 to $45.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 1.37% or 0.59 to hit $43.77 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.20% or 15.00 to trade at $1235.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.52% to 1.1229, while EUR/GBP fell 0.88% to 0.7812.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.52% at 95.11.
