Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V), which rose 11.18% or 3.41 points to trade at 33.90 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 10.15% or 0.49 points to end at 5.29 and Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) was up 3.10% or 0.62 points to 20.61 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 5.14% or 1.50 points to trade at 27.70 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) declined 3.63% or 0.205 points to end at 5.435 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was down 3.04% or 0.0720 points to 2.3000.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 95 to 73 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for April delivery was down 0.46% or 0.16 to $34.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.20% or 0.38 to hit $31.34 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.03% or 0.30 to trade at $1157.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.62% to 1.1138, while EUR/GBP rose 0.25% to 0.7704.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.62% at 97.11.
