Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms, Utilities and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 1.48% or 0.68 points to trade at 46.68 at the close. Meanwhile, Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) added 1.43% or 0.37 points to end at 26.32 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was up 1.25% or 0.39 points to 31.63 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 0.57% or 0.20 points to trade at 34.63 at the close. Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) declined 0.32% or 0.14 points to end at 43.85 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was down 0.24% or 0.10 points to 41.52.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 95 to 34 and 23 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for April delivery was up 0.45% or 0.25 to $56.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 0.28% or 0.15 to hit $53.93 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1238.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.04% to 1.0619, while EUR/GBP fell 0.44% to 0.8521.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 100.85.
