Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA), which rose 2.14% or 0.68 points to trade at 32.42 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmt (HE:VALMT) added 1.97% or 0.25 points to end at 12.94 and Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) was up 1.29% or 0.37 points to 29.14 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 1.11% or 0.42 points to trade at 37.46 at the close. Fortum Oyj (HE:FUM1V) declined 0.70% or 0.10 points to end at 14.19 and Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) was down 0.67% or 0.060 points to 8.850.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 89 to 82 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Valmt (HE:VALMT) rose to all time highs; up 1.97% or 0.25 to 12.94.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 1.57% or 0.75 to $46.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.05% or 0.02 to hit $44.42 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.56% or 20.75 to trade at $1347.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.83% to 1.1240, while EUR/GBP fell 0.14% to 0.8368.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.87% at 94.91.
