Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which rose 2.28% or 0.70 points to trade at 31.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 2.23% or 0.1100 points to end at 5.0460 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 2.05% or 0.097 points to 4.827 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which fell 2.90% or 0.164 points to trade at 5.482 at the close. Nordea Bank AB FDR (HE:NDA1V) declined 1.56% or 0.145 points to end at 9.135 and YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) was down 0.81% or 0.04 points to 5.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 71 to 67 and 25 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 1.02% or 0.80 to $78.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.08% or 0.74 to hit $69.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 2.60 to trade at $1203.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.13% to 1.1668, while EUR/GBP fell 0.08% to 0.8873.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 94.19.
