Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb), which rose 0.22% or 30 points to trade at 13660 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) added 0.08% or 10 points to end at 13250 and Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) was down 0.32% or 2.0 points to 628.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (COP:GEN), which fell 3.57% or 20.0 points to trade at 540.0 at the close. Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) declined 2.99% or 11.8 points to end at 382.2 and Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) was down 2.69% or 8.7 points to 314.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 105 to 51 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.35% or 0.20 to $57.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.33% or 0.21 to hit $65.05 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.81% or 9.70 to trade at $1212.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.64% to 6.8069, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4627.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.61% at 96.31.
