Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.50%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 7.02% or 2.45 points to trade at 37.36 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 3.67% or 30.5 points to end at 860.5 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 1.01% or 1.3 points to 129.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which fell 11.81% or 38.4 points to trade at 286.8 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 5.35% or 66.0 points to end at 1167.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 1.90% or 12.5 points to 646.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 110 to 46 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.73% or 0.74 to $42.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.49% or 0.67 to hit $44.31 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.37% or 5.05 to trade at $1351.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.53% to 6.6571, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4382.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.48% at 95.60.
