Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 5.91% or 16.5 points to trade at 295.9 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 5.47% or 455 points to end at 8775 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 4.47% or 365 points to 8525 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb), which fell 4.76% or 16.6 points to trade at 332.4 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 3.09% or 25.5 points to end at 801.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was down 2.31% or 5.50 points to 232.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 64 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.59% or 0.19 to $32.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.11% or 0.39 to hit $34.65 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 1.23% or 14.00 to trade at $1155.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.78% to 6.6676, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4628.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.65% at 96.62.
