Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.15% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 0.59% or 2.9 points to trade at 495.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.36% or 3.0 points to end at 847.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.24% or 0.60 points to 248.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which fell 2.70% or 1.70 points to trade at 61.35 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 2.56% or 11.6 points to end at 441.0 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 2.48% or 215 points to 8450.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 100 to 43 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.90% or 1.30 to $43.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.07% or 0.95 to hit $44.88 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.56% or 7.30 to trade at $1288.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 6.4598, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4422.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 92.81.
