Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (COP:GEN), which rose 5.67% or 30.0 points to trade at 559.5 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) added 1.39% or 4.3 points to end at 312.6 and William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) was up 1.37% or 7.5 points to 553.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb), which fell 1.18% or 4.4 points to trade at 368.0 at the close. TDC A/S (COP:TDC) declined 1.13% or 0.56 points to end at 49.12 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) was down 0.97% or 3.1 points to 317.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 73 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.81% or 0.49 to $61.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.41% or 0.95 to hit $68.33 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.95% or 23.30 to trade at $1215.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.37% to 6.5640, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4629.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.15% at 93.61.
