Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 2.44% or 7.6 points to trade at 319.4 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.54% or 0.52 points to end at 34.20 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.36% or 1.00 points to 74.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 3.19% or 38.0 points to trade at 1155.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 2.79% or 12.2 points to end at 425.3 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 2.67% or 7.1 points to 258.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 65 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.89% or 0.98 to $50.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.75% or 0.96 to hit $53.98 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.53% or 6.25 to trade at $1170.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.55% to 6.9490, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4380.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.43% at 100.59.
