Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 4.82% or 26.0 points to trade at 565.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 3.70% or 41.0 points to end at 1150.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 2.91% or 7.8 points to 275.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 1.49% or 6.2 points to trade at 409.8 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 0.96% or 2.4 points to end at 248.1 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 0.78% or 4.0 points to 506.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 98 to 50 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) rose to 5-year highs; rising 4.82% or 26.0 to 565.0.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.91% or 1.43 to $47.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.95% or 1.50 to hit $49.38 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.20% or 2.75 to trade at $1343.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.08% to 6.5764, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4427.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 94.54.
