Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 9.87% or 48.1 points to trade at 535.5 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.81% or 255 points to end at 9345 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 2.78% or 6.8 points to 251.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 1.89% or 21.0 points to trade at 1092.0 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 1.71% or 11.0 points to end at 632.5 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 0.78% or 2.1 points to 268.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 99 to 36 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.76% or 1.29 to $48.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.79% or 0.89 to hit $50.74 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.52% or 6.95 to trade at $1355.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.39% to 6.5655, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4415.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.44% at 94.27.
