Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.90%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding (CO:WDH), which rose 4.79% or 31.5 points to trade at 689.0 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.16% or 270 points to end at 8805 and Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb) was up 3.06% or 8.7 points to 292.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 0.19% or 0.8 points to trade at 416.2 at the close. Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) added 0.03% or 0.1 points to end at 367.6 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 0.23% or 2.0 points to 857.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 45 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) rose to all time highs; up 4.79% or 31.5 to 689.0.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.12% or 0.05 to $41.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.27% or 0.12 to hit $44.30 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.71% or 21.30 to trade at $1227.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.03% to 6.6035, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 94.86.
