Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.87%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.46% or 22.0 points to trade at 918.0 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.97% or 0.73 points to end at 37.75 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 1.94% or 5.4 points to 283.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 1.82% or 21.0 points to trade at 1135.0 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 0.62% or 2.4 points to end at 385.8 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 0.62% or 2.1 points to 335.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 49 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.12% or 0.06 to $50.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.47% or 0.24 to hit $51.62 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.25 to trade at $1265.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.56% to 6.8451, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4386.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.46% at 98.74.
