Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 1.55% or 3.5 points to trade at 229.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 1.13% or 5.3 points to end at 474.3 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 0.93% or 0.33 points to 35.72 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 2.21% or 6.9 points to trade at 305.4 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 2.10% or 1.55 points to end at 72.30 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 1.84% or 23.0 points to 1229.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 59 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.34% or 1.08 to $47.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.11% or 1.02 to hit $49.26 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.81% or 9.60 to trade at $1188.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.16% to 7.0310, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4395.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 101.47.
