Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Services, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which rose 2.33% or 400.0 points to trade at 17600.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 2.08% or 340.0 points to end at 16700.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 1.93% or 480.0 points to 25360.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 3.00% or 180.0 points to trade at 5820.0 at the close. Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) declined 1.41% or 280.0 points to end at 19620.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was down 1.33% or 20.0 points to 1480.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 9 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.36% or 0.42 to $119.22 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.26% or 39.50 to hit $3165.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.29% or 3.30 to trade at $1118.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.59% to 3127.30, while BRL/COP rose 0.64% to 814.74.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 96.14.
