I think your short call on GTAT is correct. I don't own it, and never have and never will most likely. I'm not knowledgable enough to know how to "short" it, and even if I was, It's to volitile for my tastes. It does move mostly mysteriously, but has moved with the Nasdaqs ups or downs somewhat, if I remember correctly, during the last week. But even then mysteriously at times. I think it is still a rather speculative stock, at this point. But when we get second quarter earnings, and especially the third quarter earnings, we will get a LOT better idea of what the price should be for this stock. GTAT is jumping around so much, I feel, because there's NO CLEAR idea of what the stock should be valued at. Any "good" news, and it jumps....but it also has a tendancy to "dive" at times for no reason. I like to watch it because all of the coverage it gets from all the media sites, and brokers, and banks that have for months constantly "pumped" up this stock. Good skill with your short position. For disclosure purposes, I do own GLW, and my wife works for them.
