Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 2.06% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which fell 0.23% or 0.11 points to trade at 47.16 at the close. Meanwhile, Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) fell 0.28% or 0.7 points to end at 252.2 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was down 0.63% or 1.0 points to 157.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs), which fell 3.30% or 7.5 points to trade at 220.1 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 3.08% or 0.93 points to end at 29.27 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) was down 2.99% or 3.9 points to 126.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 400 to 152 and 39 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) fell to 52-week lows; falling 0.23% or 0.11 to 47.16.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.14% or 0.05 to $35.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.11% or 0.04 to hit $37.73 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.93% or 11.30 to trade at $1230.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.03% to 9.2638, while USD/SEK rose 0.03% to 8.1339.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 94.59.
