Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.42%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 0.92% or 4.10 points to trade at 450.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 0.33% or 0.60 points to end at 182.60 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was up 0.12% or 0.3 points to 259.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 4.47% or 1.26 points to trade at 26.90 at the close. Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) declined 3.00% or 8.8 points to end at 284.5 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was down 2.91% or 2.40 points to 80.15.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 341 to 199 and 50 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 3.01% or 1.12 to $36.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.76% or 1.09 to hit $38.44 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 1.02% or 12.70 to trade at $1232.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.24% to 9.2431, while USD/SEK fell 0.25% to 8.3238.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 96.67.
