Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.16% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 0.42% or 0.60 points to trade at 142.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) added 0.08% or 0.2 points to end at 259.8 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) was up 0.04% or 0.1 points to 262.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 3.12% or 3.10 points to trade at 96.40 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 2.64% or 4.10 points to end at 151.10 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was down 2.45% or 1.09 points to 43.31.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 289 to 141 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.96% or 0.56 to $58.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.65% or 1.02 to hit $63.03 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1177.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.10% to 9.2547, while USD/SEK rose 0.80% to 8.2942.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.50% at 95.56.
