Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 1.21% or 1.80 points to trade at 151.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) added 0.40% or 1.0 points to end at 253.2 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 0.40% or 0.60 points to 151.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 3.55% or 3.50 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Svenska Handelsbanken ser. A (ST:SHBa) declined 2.74% or 2.9 points to end at 102.9 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) was down 2.02% or 4.1 points to 199.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 372 to 198 and 47 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.89% or 0.44 to $48.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.72% or 0.36 to hit $49.68 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 2.45% or 29.65 to trade at $1242.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.29% to 9.2604, while USD/SEK fell 1.84% to 8.1707.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.51% at 94.12.
