Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Telecoms and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which rose 2.42% or 1.19 points to trade at 50.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) added 1.95% or 4.6 points to end at 240.6 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 1.92% or 10.00 points to 530.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which fell 5.16% or 4.30 points to trade at 79.05 at the close. TeliaSonera AB (ST:TLSN) declined 1.53% or 0.61 points to end at 39.16 and Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) was down 1.12% or 3.3 points to 292.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 276 to 272 and 46 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.43% or 0.18 to $41.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.45% or 0.20 to hit $44.38 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.65% or 20.60 to trade at $1227.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.26% to 9.1537, while USD/SEK fell 0.19% to 8.1250.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 94.88.
