Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 4.57% or 3.60 points to trade at 82.30 at the close. Meanwhile, ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) added 1.43% or 2.4 points to end at 170.0 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was up 0.80% or 1.7 points to 214.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 4.42% or 11.00 points to trade at 237.80 at the close. Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) declined 2.72% or 7.7 points to end at 275.3 and Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) was down 2.71% or 6.8 points to 244.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 330 to 277 and 67 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 3.59% or 1.69 to $45.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 3.43% or 1.69 to hit $47.52 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.32% or 3.80 to trade at $1187.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.04% to 9.7657, while USD/SEK fell 0.10% to 9.1880.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 101.15.
