Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which rose 3.61% or 6.0 points to trade at 172.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) added 1.50% or 2.6 points to end at 176.5 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 1.31% or 1.80 points to 139.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken A (ST:SEBa), which fell 3.90% or 3.20 points to trade at 78.85 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) declined 2.97% or 7.6 points to end at 248.1 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was down 2.51% or 5.4 points to 209.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 287 to 277 and 44 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.73% or 0.32 to $44.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.92% or 0.42 to hit $46.00 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.62% or 7.75 to trade at $1251.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.24% to 9.1524, while USD/SEK fell 0.48% to 8.0831.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 94.37.
