Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 6.79% or 17.7 points to trade at 278.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 3.25% or 3.4 points to end at 107.9 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 1.56% or 0.61 points to 39.59 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which fell 10.60% or 16.5 points to trade at 139.3 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) declined 9.19% or 5.12 points to end at 50.58 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was down 3.33% or 0.42 points to 12.18.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 348 to 264 and 48 ended unchanged.
Shares in H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) fell to 5-year lows; falling 10.60% or 16.5 to 139.3. Shares in Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.33% or 0.42 to 12.18.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.26% or 0.17 to $64.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.36% or 0.25 to hit $68.77 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 5.80 to trade at $1341.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.00% to 9.7867, while USD/SEK fell 0.25% to 7.8716.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 88.86.
