Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which rose 1.00% or 2.0 points to trade at 201.1 at the close. Meanwhile, H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 0.87% or 1.9 points to end at 219.3 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 0.85% or 0.19 points to 22.52 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa), which fell 1.27% or 2.8 points to trade at 216.9 at the close. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) declined 1.25% or 1.94 points to end at 153.66 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was down 1.09% or 0.51 points to 46.49.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 408 to 324 and 80 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.20% or 0.10 to $51.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.21% or 0.12 to hit $56.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 3.09 to trade at $1290.71 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.11% to 9.5433, while USD/SEK fell 0.26% to 8.0532.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 92.87.
