Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Telecoms, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 1.58%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which rose 3.12% or 4.5 points to trade at 148.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 2.87% or 15.00 points to end at 538.50 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was up 2.70% or 2.20 points to 83.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs), which rose 0.22% or 0.5 points to trade at 222.9 at the close. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) added 0.34% or 0.31 points to end at 90.81 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 0.38% or 0.11 points to 29.42.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 399 to 164 and 57 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.16% or 0.08 to $48.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.06% or 0.03 to hit $48.78 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.31% or 3.85 to trade at $1250.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.24% to 9.3393, while USD/SEK fell 0.31% to 8.3308.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 95.41.
