Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which rose 1.93% or 1.17 points to trade at 61.77 at the close. Meanwhile, Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 1.52% or 1.50 points to end at 100.50 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was up 1.51% or 1.10 points to 74.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb), which fell 2.85% or 7.1 points to trade at 242.0 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) declined 1.18% or 1.6 points to end at 134.5 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was down 0.44% or 0.90 points to 201.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 338 to 256 and 53 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.46% or 0.22 to $48.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.34% or 0.17 to hit $49.98 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.21% or 2.75 to trade at $1323.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.13% to 9.6349, while USD/SEK rose 0.02% to 8.5763.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.10% at 95.33.
