Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which rose 3.34% or 1.47 points to trade at 45.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) added 2.54% or 2.35 points to end at 95.00 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was up 1.45% or 3.0 points to 209.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 3.29% or 3.00 points to trade at 88.30 at the close. SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb) declined 2.00% or 3.0 points to end at 146.9 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was down 1.57% or 2.60 points to 162.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 371 to 220 and 68 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.96% or 0.48 to $49.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.24% or 0.63 to hit $50.16 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.40% or 5.05 to trade at $1268.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.01% to 9.7197, while USD/SEK fell 0.25% to 8.9025.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.17% at 98.52.
