Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 1.97% or 11.00 points to trade at 568.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) added 1.36% or 2.9 points to end at 215.9 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 1.08% or 5.2 points to 488.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which fell 1.41% or 2.0 points to trade at 140.1 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 1.23% or 1.70 points to end at 136.00 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was down 0.94% or 0.80 points to 84.65.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 280 to 269 and 59 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.17% or 0.49 to $41.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.37% or 0.16 to hit $42.94 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1234.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.28% to 9.1939, while USD/SEK fell 0.11% to 8.1219.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.25% at 94.44.
