Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 3.97% or 4.40 points to trade at 115.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 2.15% or 4.00 points to end at 189.90 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 1.77% or 2.70 points to 155.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 2.13% or 0.57 points to trade at 26.16 at the close. ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) declined 1.37% or 2.5 points to end at 179.8 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was down 0.90% or 2.4 points to 264.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 298 to 281 and 68 ended unchanged.
Shares in Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.15% or 4.00 to 189.90.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.76% or 0.84 to $46.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.64% or 0.82 to hit $49.33 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.08% or 1.05 to trade at $1326.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.29% to 9.4741, while USD/SEK fell 0.07% to 8.4754.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 95.65.
