Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Food, Telecoms and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 declined 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:JSW), which rose 5.02% or 0.94 points to trade at 19.65 at the close. Meanwhile, KGHM Polska Miedz SA (WA:KGH) added 4.04% or 2.89 points to end at 74.39 and Energa SA (WA:ENGP) was up 2.89% or 0.35 points to 12.44 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kernel Holding SA (WA:KER), which fell 3.25% or 1.73 points to trade at 51.45 at the close. Asseco Poland SA (WA:ACPP) declined 2.03% or 1.20 points to end at 57.90 and OrangePL (WA:OPL) was down 1.90% or 0.12 points to 6.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 275 to 219 and 177 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.43% or 0.20 to $45.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.86% or 0.41 to hit $47.36 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 2.06% or 26.10 to trade at $1292.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was down 0.62% to 4.3739, while USD/PLN fell 1.36% to 3.8236.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.63% at 93.14.
