Investing.com – Peru stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Non-Metal Minerals, Industrials and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General lost 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Milpo (LM:MIL), which rose 4.14% or 0.120 points to trade at 3.020 at the close. Meanwhile, Empresa Agroindustrial Pomalca (LM:POM) added 3.26% or 0.006 points to end at 0.190 and Minsur (LM:MINi) was up 1.56% or 0.020 points to 1.300 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Buenaventura (LM:BVN), which fell 3.96% or 0.530 points to trade at 12.870 at the close. Relapasa (LM:REL) declined 3.77% or 0.010 points to end at 0.255 and Grana Y Monter (LM:GRA) was down 3.60% or 0.210 points to 5.620.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 14 to 12 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Milpo (LM:MIL) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 4.14% or 0.120 to 3.020.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.11% or 1.05 to $48.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.53% or 0.77 to hit $49.70 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.47% or 6.00 to trade at $1275.50 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was up 0.02% to 3.3722, while EUR/PEN rose 0.04% to 3.6814.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.62% at 98.31.
