Investing.com – Peru stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Mining, Banking & Financials and Non-Metal Minerals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General rose 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Atacocha (LM:ATB), which rose 9.31% or 0.034 points to trade at 0.399 at the close. Meanwhile, Trevali Mining (LM:TV) added 3.00% or 0.030 points to end at 1.030 and Southern Copper Corp (LM:SPC) was up 2.55% or 0.84 points to 33.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Casa Grande (LM:CSG), which fell 2.10% or 0.150 points to trade at 7.000 at the close. Milpo (LM:MIL) declined 1.59% or 0.050 points to end at 3.100 and Luz Del Sur (LM:LUZ) was down 1.44% or 0.170 points to 11.640.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 10 to 10 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.30% or 0.67 to $51.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.42% or 0.23 to hit $54.23 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.51% or 6.05 to trade at $1171.75 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was up 0.02% to 3.4186, while EUR/PEN rose 1.11% to 3.6800.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.60% at 100.15.
