Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Energy and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 1.60%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 1.88% or 0.03 points to trade at 1.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) added 1.36% or 0.40 points to end at 29.80 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) was up 0.56% or 0.40 points to 71.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 8.67% or 2.26 points to trade at 23.81 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 8.40% or 0.59 points to end at 6.43 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) was down 7.18% or 2.6 points to 34.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 137 to 42 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.55% or 1.14 to $43.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.77% or 0.81 to hit $45.02 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.62% or 8.05 to trade at $1287.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.70% to 9.3120, while USD/NOK rose 0.96% to 8.0936.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.40% at 92.90.
