Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which rose 1.41% or 4.6 points to trade at 330.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 0.87% or 1.9 points to end at 221.0 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) was up 0.59% or 0.45 points to 76.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA), which fell 4.22% or 11.70 points to trade at 265.60 at the close. Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) declined 2.49% or 9.6 points to end at 376.0 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was down 2.20% or 4.1 points to 182.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 126 to 59 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.22% or 11.70 to 265.60.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.08% or 0.04 to $50.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.26% or 0.14 to hit $53.27 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.45 to trade at $1245.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.30% to 9.1683, while USD/NOK rose 0.12% to 8.5732.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 100.19.
