Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.24% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 1.75% or 0.02 points to trade at 1.34 at the close. Meanwhile, P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 1.21% or 3.80 points to end at 316.80 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) was up 0.84% or 1.1 points to 132.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 6.33% or 17.8 points to trade at 263.2 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) declined 4.33% or 0.8 points to end at 17.0 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 4.20% or 1.10 points to 25.06.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 114 to 66 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.30% or 0.16 to $52.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.75% or 0.42 to hit $55.33 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 7.65 to trade at $1240.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.09% to 8.8472, while USD/NOK fell 0.47% to 8.2992.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 100.56.
