Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Diversified Financials and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 6.44% or 0.07 points to trade at 1.14 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 2.19% or 6.0 points to end at 280.5 and Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) was up 2.09% or 0.2 points to 12.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG), which fell 4.64% or 1.20 points to trade at 24.66 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 3.79% or 1.30 points to end at 33.00 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was down 3.00% or 4.00 points to 129.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 99 to 90 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.29% or 0.66 to $50.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.35% or 0.72 to hit $52.42 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.06% or 0.75 to trade at $1259.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.57% to 9.0561, while USD/NOK rose 1.21% to 8.1825.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.61% at 97.50.
