Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Auto & components, Diversified Financials and Consumer Durables And Apparel sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 7.68% or 1.16 points to trade at 16.27 at the close. Meanwhile, BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) added 4.88% or 1.42 points to end at 30.49 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 2.01% or 2.3 points to 116.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which fell 5.57% or 4.05 points to trade at 68.70 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 1.87% or 1.05 points to end at 55.20 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) was down 0.93% or 1.3 points to 137.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 83 to 80 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.19% or 0.09 to $47.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $49.73 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 4.72 to trade at $1223.92 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.30% to 9.4801, while USD/NOK fell 0.17% to 8.3535.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 95.98.
