Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Auto & components and Diversified Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which rose 6.67% or 0.7 points to trade at 11.5 at the close. Meanwhile, BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) added 4.29% or 1.93 points to end at 46.88 and Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 2.03% or 8.7 points to 437.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which fell 2.09% or 0.16 points to trade at 7.49 at the close. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 1.85% or 0.02 points to end at 1.17 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was down 0.83% or 1.20 points to 142.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 102 to 74 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.04% or 0.02 to $48.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.18% or 0.09 to hit $51.46 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.15 to trade at $1203.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.64% to 9.1166, while USD/NOK fell 0.41% to 8.5521.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 101.19.
