Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Commercial Service And Supplies and Auto & components sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS), which rose 2.67% or 0.2 points to trade at 7.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) added 2.13% or 1.3 points to end at 62.2 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was up 1.82% or 0.46 points to 25.69 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 1.80% or 5.8 points to trade at 317.3 at the close. Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) declined 1.64% or 0.90 points to end at 54.00 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was down 1.22% or 4.1 points to 331.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 83 to 77 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.41% or 0.17 to $41.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.46% or 0.19 to hit $41.73 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.25% or 3.10 to trade at $1247.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.29% to 9.4366, while USD/NOK fell 0.00% to 8.4174.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 95.69.
