Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Chemicals and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 declined 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Yoox Net-A-Porter Group SpA (MI:YNAP), which rose 1.89% or 0.55 points to trade at 29.68 at the close. Meanwhile, Atlantia (MI:ATL) added 1.40% or 0.34 points to end at 24.65 and Luxottica Group (MI:LUX) was up 1.38% or 0.85 points to 62.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Moncler SpA (MI:MONC), which fell 6.43% or 1.01 points to trade at 14.70 at the close. CNH Industrial NV (MI:CNHI) declined 2.62% or 0.170 points to end at 6.310 and Telecom Italia (MI:TLIT) was down 2.53% or 0.0270 points to 1.0400.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 262 to 168 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.30% or 0.61 to $47.71 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.70% or 0.35 to hit $50.60 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.18% or 2.10 to trade at $1166.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.25% to 1.1388, while EUR/GBP rose 0.94% to 0.7470.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 94.76.
