Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as in the sectors led shares .
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite unchanged 0.00% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Athens Medical (AT:AMCr), which rose 6.43% or 0.090 points to trade at 1.430 at the close. Meanwhile, Select Textile (AT:EPIr) added 4.26% or 0.011 points to end at 0.270 and Intralot (AT:INLr) was up 3.94% or 0.050 points to 1.320 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Centric Hold (AT:DESr), which fell 4.05% or 0.007 points to trade at 0.166 at the close. J. & P. Avax (AT:AVAr) declined 3.99% or 0.029 points to end at 0.698 and ThesKi Water (AT:TWSr) was down 2.59% or 0.120 points to 4.510.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 72 to 44 and 12 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for August delivery was down 1.13% or 13.87 to $1209.43 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 2.92% or 1.33 to hit $44.19 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract fell 2.87% or 1.38 to trade at $46.73 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.27% to 1.1392, while EUR/GBP rose 0.40% to 0.8843.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 95.87.
