Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Construction and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General-Composite lost 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General-Composite were Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr), which rose 8.33% or 0.08 points to trade at 1.04 at the close. Meanwhile, Athens Water (AT:EYDr) added 5.65% or 0.23 points to end at 4.30 and Euro Reliance (AT:EREr) was up 4.20% or 0.06 points to 1.49 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Frigoglass (AT:FRIr), which fell 27.91% or 0.14 points to trade at 0.37 at the close. Reds (AT:CAMr) declined 16.39% or 0.059 points to end at 0.301 and Ellaktor (AT:HELr) was down 9.93% or 0.140 points to 1.270.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 45 to 43 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Frigoglass (AT:FRIr) fell to all time lows; falling 27.91% or 0.14 to 0.37.
Gold for June delivery was up 0.74% or 9.10 to $1237.70 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 1.49% or 0.57 to hit $38.89 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 1.40% or 0.56 to trade at $40.61 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.43% to 1.1387, while EUR/GBP rose 0.28% to 0.7907.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 94.51.
