Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.42% or 5.4 points to trade at 386.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 0.67% or 1.4 points to end at 211.9 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 0.62% or 2.1 points to 338.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which fell 2.85% or 4.1 points to trade at 139.8 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.62% or 30.0 points to end at 1114.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 2.08% or 5.5 points to 259.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 103 to 47 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 0.67% or 1.4 to 211.9.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.17% or 0.59 to $49.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.28% or 0.66 to hit $50.80 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.80% or 10.15 to trade at $1273.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.06% to 6.8322, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4378.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 98.70.
